Assist senior hairstylists with various tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for services.

What you will do in your working day

• Assist senior hairstylists with various tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for services.
• Learn and practice the fundamentals of cutting, colouring, and styling hair under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring clients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their salon experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the salon, including sanitising tools and workstations.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in hairstyling techniques.
• Uphold the salon's high standards of quality and professionalism.

The training you will be getting

You will work towards your Level 2 Hair Professional standard, in-house with the Salon and Hairdressing Tutor.

• Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals
• Functional Skills English and Maths if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Full/Part time stylist role at the salon.

Possibility of progressing onto an Advanced and Creative Level 3 apprenticeship.
